I hand sculpt this unique barrette from stunning chechen (also called Caribbean Rosewood and poisonwood). I then add a stunning genuine green amber cabochon in a hand-made sterling silver setting. The amber has wonderful inclusions and is stunning when the light passes through it.

Size: Large approx. 3 3/4" size of clip: 80mm / 3 1/4" The most commonly used barrette size. Will work well for most hair types.

We've been making wood barrettes for over 20 years. Our wooden barrettes are all made from SOLID wood.  **Never a thin layer of veneer over a cheaper base wood**
They are screwed not glued to the made in France clips for a strong, durable, mess free joint.

Barrette clips vary quite a bit in quality. We  use only the highest quality French Barrette Clips on all our  barrettes. They have proven themselves over time to be the best available.
